In a forgotten city overshadowed by towering skyscrapers, a clandestine group known as “The Shadow Strays” moves in the unseen alleys and hidden passages. These outcasts are not ordinary; each has a unique ability tied to the shadows they manipulate, able to bend darkness to their will. Their leader, Juno, can merge with shadows entirely, becoming invisible to the human eye. Once a victim of the system, Juno now leads the Strays in a rebellion against the corporate overlords who control every aspect of the city.
The story begins when a mysterious new member, Corin, joins the group. He harbors a dark secret—he’s a spy, sent by the city’s ruling elite to infiltrate the Strays and sabotage their plans. But as Corin gets to know them, especially Juno, he begins to question his mission. He learns of their desire not for anarchy, but for freedom from the oppressive system that keeps people divided between light and darkness, privilege and poverty.
As tensions rise, the Strays plan a heist to steal the technology that binds the city’s power grid to the ruling class. They must rely on their shadow powers, moving through the night like ghosts. But when Corin’s true identity is revealed, the group faces betrayal from within. Juno must decide whether to trust him or eliminate the threat before the city is lost forever to the shadows.
