Aquaman 3 (2025) – First Trailer | Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa

The story begins with Atlantis thriving under Arthur’s leadership. However, tensions rise as reports of ancient underwater cities mysteriously vanishing surface, leaving behind only eerie remnants. Arthur, alongside his trusted allies Mera (Amber Heard) and Orm (Patrick Wilson), begins investigating the phenomenon, uncovering a centuries-old prophecy about a “Shadow Tide” – a force capable of consuming all aquatic life and reshaping the oceans forever.

Enter Prince Kael, a charismatic but enigmatic young ruler from an undiscovered aquatic kingdom hidden deep within the Mariana Trench. Kael arrives at Atlantis claiming to hold the key to stopping the Shadow Tide, but his motives are unclear. Arthur is torn between trusting Kael’s knowledge and suspecting his ulterior motives, especially as Kael and Mera develop an intellectual bond while studying ancient Atlantean texts together.

The tension escalates when Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) re-emerges, more powerful than ever, having allied with a secretive organization that aims to exploit the chaos caused by the Shadow Tide. Black Manta seeks to weaponize Kael’s kingdom’s advanced technology to exact revenge on Arthur and conquer Atlantis.

The film builds toward an epic underwater showdown as Arthur and Kael are forced to set aside their differences and unite their kingdoms to combat the growing threat. Along the way, Arthur grapples with his own insecurities as a leader, questioning his ability to unite a fractured ocean world.

The climactic battle sees Arthur wielding new powers unlocked by his connection to the ocean’s primal energies, while Kael’s true role in the prophecy is revealed in a twist that redefines his relationship with Arthur and the Atlantean legacy. With breathtaking visuals and an emotionally charged story, Aquaman 3 promises to be a powerful tale of redemption, trust, and the enduring bond between humanity and the natural world.
